Welcome to Green Rewards

Green Rewards is all about taking action to reduce our carbon footprints and help tackle Climate Change.  All the Nottinghamshire Councils, including Ashfield District Council, Bassetlaw Borough Council, Broxtowe Borough Council, Gedling Borough Council, Mansfield District Council, Newark and Sherwood District Council, Nottingham City Council, Nottinghamshire County Council and Rushcliffe Borough Council have come together in partnership to drive forward and fund the platform and app to residents. Note that Newark and Sherwood District Council residents will be able to register soon

You've made a great first step by signing up for the programme and the steps below will help you get the most out of it.

1. Get the app

As well as the interactive web platform, there's also a free app for iOS and Android! Search 'Notts; Green Rewards' in your device's app store or click the links below and get rewarded on the go.

2. Take part in activities

You can take part in a whole range of activities to earn Green Points for yourself and your ward. We've grouped these activities into themes, all of which you can get involved in at any time. Take part as a household and have one person per household report your actions.

Check out each of the activities to see what you have to do - for some you'll need to submit some information or a photo whilst for others you'll be sent a weekly reminder to let us know what you've done. We've included an impact and effort rating so you've got a rough idea of which activities will have the biggest effect on your carbon footprint.

3. Check the leader board

The leader board on the homepage shows how you're performing compared to your neighbours and how your ward is doing compared to others in your Borough or District.

4. Win prizes

As part of the programme you'll get the opportunity to win £20 vouchers each month, with more detail on the choices of vouchers on the homepage.

Our top individuals are based on who has earned the most points during that month. Don't worry if you've only just joined or haven't taken part in a while - as soon as you get stuck in, you're in with a chance to win!

5. Encourage your neighbours to get involved

You can encourage your neighbours to get involved (and earn Green Points for yourself) using our refer a friend tool - all you need is your friend's email address to send them an invite.

Please note: only residents of the following Boroughs or Districts can get involved: Ashfield, Bassetlaw, Broxtowe, Gedling, Mansfield, Nottingham City and Rushcliffe. Residents of Newark and Sherwood District will be able to register and access the platform soon.
